Job Purpose:
Act as a central controller for Cost and inventory functions of the organization.
Duties and responsibilities but not limited to the below:
- Creating, costing and updating food and drink menus and recipes with management which happens often on new product activation
- Monitoring and control of stock quarterly or monthly with post-event reporting on variances
- Review and optimize F&B operational plans, manage F&B budgets and report to the top management for an optimized decision empowering brands
- Review and report F&B outcomes including accurate sales, discounts, voids, COGS & Menu engineering and any report needed.
- Monitor the level of stock in store/warehouse locations and consumption in each outlet and central kitchen on an ongoing basis.
- Generate consumption reports to monitor the inventory stock level and compare them with the inventory transfer requisition made by the outlets.
- Review physical inventory adjustments by the store locations and investigate any abnormalities.
- Monitor the weekly inventory closing in the system with the consumption, item movement, and requisitions calculated in the system.
- Monitor the purchasing price of raw materials from the suppliers and report any increase in the prices rather than the contracted/agreed prices.
- Oversee closure of PO and transfer requests across the company
- Ensure goods in transit do not exist at the closing period.
- Track and set inventory levels of food and beverage products.
- Reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy.
- Report on inventory levels to management.
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory costs and conduct inventory audits.
- Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and generate reports to provide insights into inventory performance, helping management make informed decisions about inventory control strategies and process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Other tasks as assigned by the line Manager.
